The multiplier event has been organized within the local event for reopening the local cinema C’ENTRO- RIAPRE IL SUPERCINEMA (eng. READY WITH IT – THE SUPERCINEMA REOPENS) (after 7 months of closure for refurbishing it in order to allow a better energy efficiency). The re-opening ceremony was also the occasion to launch the idea of making the cinema as a place for all the cultural activities of the city. Therefore, the Municipality of Santarcangelo took this chance to organize a side event in order to present the results of the ADAPT4FUTURE 3D PRINTING WORKSHOPS, presenting also the next workshops that are going to be held in our FabLab during 2023-2024. The event has been appreciated by participants who used this event also to register themselves for the 3D printing workshops organized at the Santarcangelo FabLab between November and December 2023. It has to be noted that the 3d printing events scheduled for November and December 2023 were fully booked during the multiplier event.
The objectives of the event were to:
– to launch the intellectual Project’s Results and invite participants to use it in their practice;
– to disseminate resources at a local/regional/national level including the presentation of future workshops on 3d printing to be held at A. Baldini Municipal Library between 2023 and 2024;
– to establish contacts between institutions and organizations active in the field of non-formal education (networking).
The event through the following activities allowed to sharing and dissemination of information of the produced project results:
– Introduction to the overall project.
– Presentation of the project results divided per country.
– Introduction to the 3D methodology for adult learners and presentations of the work done.
– Experiences from educators and participants – the adult learner group.
– Networking buffet.
– Conclusions and presentation of the next 3D printing workshops for 2023-2024.
Participants of the event included:
1. Adult educators, trainers, teachers – from other libraries, FabLabs, NGOs, formal and non-formal education centers, local community centers;
2. Representatives of associated partners;
3. Representatives of local authorities;
4. Representatives of ICT education and validation centers;
5. Local community members, adult learners, also with fewer opportunities;
6. Media representatives, reporters from local and national media.
A total number of 44 participants attended the event.
